About Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago are sister islands that are known locally as T’nT. Although quite close geographically they are miles apart in terms of character.

Trinidad is a bustling, cosmopolitan, culturally diverse, industrialised island, with one of the strongest emerging economies in the area.

Tobago is a complete contrast. The original Robinson Crusoe island, it is one of the last unspoilt secrets of the Caribbean.

The interior is a lush rainforest, on of the oldest protected rainforests, dating back to the 1700’s; and surrounding it are quiet, sandy beaches. In the past, several nations have fought for its charms, but the British have left the most lasting impression and English is widely spoken. So look out for villages called Louis d’Or or Les Couteaux – Portsmouth, Roxborough and Scarborough, as well as Auskenceoch.

Trinidad & Tobago are positioned at the base of the Caribbean near the coasts of Venezuela.

You can fly to Trinidad & Tobago on Air Canada, British Airways, Air France, American Airlines, Excel, Sky Service, LIAT, Caribbean Airlines, Caribbean Star, and Condor, Continental Airlines, Delta, Lauda Air, Martinair, Travel Span, Virgin Airlines and Zoom. Caribbean Airlines make regular connections on the 15 minutes flight between the islands. Pickup from Crown Point Airport in Tobago can be arranged and it takes 20 minutes to drive to Ohana.

As well, the 2 comfortable and efficient Catamaran Ferries, T’nT Express & T’nT Spirit make regular trips between the islands, carrying both passengers and cars.
